At last, an update! Hehe... So let's start this month's blogging with a product review post...
On the last day of the Lunar New Year's holiday celebrations, I was able to get myself a tube of my HG facial wash or cleansing foam: Etude House' BB Baking Powder cleansing foam.
I also got myself a really small gift (ang dami na naming gastos eh, hehe!), the BAKING POWDER CRUNCH PORE SCRUB.
(tube pictured is the cleansing foam)
The triangular container contains 24 packets of 7-gram pore scrub pouches.
(I forgot the price of this one but surely it's not more than KRW9,000)
This facial/pore scrub is formulated with the following:
~~~BAKING POWDER to penetrate, exfoliate and cleanse skin deep within pores to remove makeup and residues.
~~~PEPPERMINT to soothe the skin.
A pouch is recommended for one time use only. It is advised to use 1 or 2 pouches a week.
However, when I first opened a pouch, I thought that the contents were too much for a one time use only. You really won't need all that 7g of product to exfoliate, believe me.. So instead of 1 or 2 pouches, you can just use 1 pouch a week which means you can actually stretch the product usage from 4 to 6 or 8 months.
Sorry but I just feel so lazy to email photos from my phone as Samsung Kies sucks to give you some more views of how the scrub really looks and feels like. Anyway, the consistency of the product is quite thick with not really so fine granules. So just make gentle scrubbing strokes while using the product. The scent is stronger, like citrusy, than the usual signature scent of the line but it's very lovable. The first time I used this, I had to rinse off with warm water more than TWICE (because I used the whole pouch). Now that I know better, only using half of the contents at a time, the soapy feeling is entirely washed off at the second rinse.
Unlike the other facial scrubs I've tried, this doesn't give me that "scrubbed raw" feeling. My skin felt really cleansed and exfoliated. I didn't get any bad reaction like breaking out more that usually happens with other scrubs.
Oooops! I'm going to have a mini giveaway soon so please stay tuned! ^^,

Wanna try both ..i only have cleanser of baking powder line...nkaka lighten ba yan ng skin? Parang nabasa ko ksi somewhere ang baking powder nakaka puti ...
hi Emelyn! you should try it.. okay naman sya..
This scrub works wonders kasi it leaves my face "squeaky clean" lol. Especially if you've been wearing BB cream all day. I most recommend washing with it pati sa neck area din kasi it's where most of the creams go from the face =)
hi JeanMitch! thanks for the visit..
i grew up watching my mom and aunts wiping off make up from their neck and face with Ponds cold cream. i somehow do that too out of memory of those happy childhood days...they would make us try the cold cream and i just loved the feel of it..
but i think that most women apply make up or powder on their necks too to even out the shade/tone.. so i guess they shouldn't really forget about wiping off make up there too..
